This Laboratory deals with detection and identification of potato ring rot causes, potato dark rot causes, bacterial causes for potato and tomato plant wilting, molecular detection and identification of brown rot causes in nuts, determining the presence of hepatitis A and norovirus in food and determining the presence of GMO in planting and seed materials and processed foods.
Techniques and equipment: Real Time PCR, HIF test LOEWE Immunofluorescence (IF) Assay, selective isolation, biological test, confirmation of pathogenicity.
